Hi, Starting with release of OO 2.2 the group of automation team will start to adapt their testtool scripts to this release. All test maintainers will run their application tests on this release and if necessary fix upcoming differences between StarOffice and OpenOffice in automated tests. We want to assure the quality of the testscripts help the community get more “trust” in them and make it easier for testers to analyze upcoming tasks. We expect to be finished by the end of month 'April'. At any time feel free to distribute testscripts or adaptions to existing ones. If you want to join the automation team visit their homepage to get more information and write a mail containing info about why you would like to join this team, your intentions and expectations of oo qa work, your technical qualification and experiences etc. We will give you further info, coach you and find the proper role in the project for you.
