please visite the qa pages (http://qa.openoffice.org/) for more info
(also you can find the qa team sites there), search for an application
you know best or you want to start with (f.e. writer,calc,graphics,base)
and visit the corresponding team site - in the top right corner of the
site you find the e-mail adress of the team lead - write the team lead a
mail, containing info like what you would like to do in the team, what
your intention and expectation of oo qa work is, what your technical
qualification and experience are etc. - the team lead will give you
further info, coach you and find the proper role in the project for you
