Hi, the evaluation of the high number of crashes and errors in the test results took some time. The automated testing team identified 2 bugs, which lead to more than 500 crashes in the last testing cycles.
One issues is a complex problem, when TestTool communicates with the Office. This fault leads to unreproducible errors in the test cases. Another problem is 78343, which let crash the border tabpage. These issues are fixed now and the Release Engineering team started CWS integration for the next milestone (m217) yesterday afternoon. Additionally some more crashes were identified. They will be handled with priority 2 only, because they do not hinder the automated testing as much as the other 2 issues above. The issues are : http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=78512 http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=78594 http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=78597 http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=78641 Thorsten Thorsten Ziehm wrote:
Hi, the master build m216 isn't in a high quality as expected. The automated testing with VCL-TestTool identified many crashes on the master. The crashes were and will be analyzed in the very next days. Some issues were fixed as master-fix last Friday, some others will follow soon. These fixes should stabilize the builds until UI freeze begin of next month. At the moment only one issue is filed, 78343. Some more P1 crashes will be duplicated from the Sun internal crash reporter database to IssueTracker, when a reproducible scenario exists. Mid of this week we hope we have a clearer picture and can start after that with build for the next master. This I announced at the release status meeting today.
