Hmm. Actually, the new chart is already in the developer builds, which will evolve to 2.3. So, it will most definitely be in 2.3. (In a very theoretic theory, it could be backed out, but that's ... well, highly improbable.) The plan for the report designer is still to have it in 2.3, nothing changed there. It's not yet integrated, so things may change, but I personally don't think they will.
