my experience on word wide meetings ... 2PM GMT fits far East, Europe, as well as America - except for California.

Possibly next time two, three staggered meetings would make sense. The issues will either be the same, so by the time West coast America gets on line, there may already be first (possibly final - I don't think we think much differently, whatever the time zone) opinion/agreement on hand; or, the subjects will be different, but then why have the RoW fall asleep on line...

The experience will tell.

Hi auTomats! :-)

I have collected some issues we want to talk about in the first IRC-meeting of automated testing group on monday. If you have more, please add them to this thread, thx!

IRC Meeting 9th July 2007; 11 a.m. (MESZ)

Server : irc.freendode.net
Channel : #qa.openoffice.org
moderator : sunrayjogi (JSI)
....

Please, could you use GMT here?

I (and many others) had to go to a site to discover the right time for me.
It's natural for most people to know its own GMT offset.

It's 6 a.m. for me, so its unlikely that I'll be ale to join the meeting.
