Hi Zhu Lihua,

upps, I've nearly forgotten, there is a difference between these two options: Information has the OK button preselected and Warning has the preselection on the Cancel button.

Greetings, Oliver

Hi Zhu Lihua,

both options are the same in Calc, but are needed because of compatibility reasons to MSExcel. MSExcel displays a different icon on the messagebox. As Calc does not show such an icon both options looks the same.

Greetings, Oliver

Hi, all,

In Calc, Data->Validity...->Error Alert->Action, there are options named "Warning" and "Information". I consult the help message, it says: " The 'Warning' and 'Information' actions display a dialog that can be closed by clicking OK or Cancel. The invalid entry is only rejected when you click Cancel."

It seems that there is no difference between the two options. and it does have no difference. But in my mind, I think maybe there should be a warning icon or a information icon in the dialog when we input a invalid value.

Are the two options designed completely the same?
