Hi, all,

I found if we swith the locale setting back and forth, some number format
options will be more than the original options.

I'm not sure it's a defect or a feature.

Interesting question.

1. Create a calc document;
2. Check Tool->Options->Language settings->Language, check Locale setting,
close dialog;
3. Open Format Cells dialog, click Numbers tab, click Currency in Category
listbox, check options in Format listbox;
4. Go to Tools->Options->Language settings->Language, change Locale
setting(e.g.: Korean(ROK)), Click OK button;
5. Go to Tools->Options->Language settings->Language again, change Locale
setting back to original setting, Click OK button;
6.Open Format Cells dialog, click Numbers tab, click Currency in Category listbox, check options in Format listbox. You will find several Korean Currency options.

I can confirm this behavior. But it might be intended. As the user can more easily apply the format once selected before. I think it's a useful feature. However, I am afraid we have to wait until January until an expert will give us a qualified statement.

All the best for 2008
Peter
