Hi Sam, IMHO, that might be for the marketing project, not for quality assurance.
Anyway, please try to use one of the download sites, geographically close to you. The sites are listed at http://distribution.openoffice.org/mirrors/#mirrors The information also can be found in the web page that appears by clicking on the link "Download OpenOffice.org" in the top page of OpenOffice.org. It says: You are about to download OpenOffice.org... Any problems? If the download doesn't work for you, please manually select a mirror close to you... Current implemented mechanism randomly gives a URL out of the pool. The mechanism currently does not take care of where you are. In the next challenge, the mechanism would give you a different URL. It is like a Russian roulette. The pool holds a number of download sites spreading all over the world. In your case, it might happen that the mechanism introduced you with a download site located in the opposite side of the globe.
