Thanks for your proposal, I really like it. As long as everybody still
can build rpm or deb this is the way to go!

From QA POV it will be very useful. You can install (unpack) more than 1
version of OOo.

I think it's pretty obvious that this won't be used for testing
installation routines, so I won't raise this concern again ;)
