I suggest reevaluating and reopening http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=117131
We are receving multiple reports that this problem with PDF export only appeared in 3.3.0, as a regression from 3.2.1, and it seems strange that it is marked as duplicate of an issue from 2008. All supporting evidence is attached to the issue.
