All, Before we get too much further into M5, I think it might be good to have a phone conversation about the points on the M4 release review.
It could potentially let us have a nice quick discussion about the plans Martin has proposed for M5, without too many 10s of postings to multiple threads. Has everyone listed their items on the page Aidan created ? We could then discuss and make some proposals around these areas for M5. Obviously, we'll note and share on-list for feedback too. http://qpid.apache.org/m4-release-process-notes.html Regards, Marnie On Tue, Feb 3, 2009 at 9:25 AM, Aidan Skinner <ai...@apache.org> wrote: > On Tue, Feb 3, 2009 at 2:25 AM, Rajith Attapattu <rajit...@gmail.com> > wrote: > > > Agree that Qpid as a project needs to pay more attention to licensing > > issues. > > I had to update a ton of files for the ASF header across all languages > and > > it wasn't fun at all :) > > The addition of a GPL library was a honest mistake and should have been > > caught during the review process. > > That's the thing I'm concerned about.
