1. Do not kill children if they hang. Leave
alive for questioning.
2. Identify what type of child is hanging.
3. Print a clear end-of-test message for grepping
( and clear status indication on same line. )
4. Detect and error out on spontaneous broker death.
5. Improve message when child fails to start up.
6. Don't kill brokers when they've been newly added
to the cluster and are updating. It generates
spurious errors.
