Hello I tested the Java components of RC1 today and encountered no issues.
Specifically I used qpid-java-0.12-rc1.tar.gz and qpid-jmx-management-console-0.12-macosx.zip, ran up the broker, and performed various tests using Drain/Spout whilst observing the console.
