Keith Wall commented on QPID-3422: ---------------------------------- It is not that a ring queue feature would be unwelcome/undesirable, but it is just not something that has a realistic chance of being prioritised by us at the moment. The user population I deal with day to day rarely call for this feature - and when they do, they normally want an LVQ. Contributions would be welcome; the Java broker's model and management layer is now is more amenable to extension and I would hope producing a ring queue type plugin would be possible with too much effort. > Implement ring queue on java broker > ----------------------------------- > > Key: QPID-3422 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-3422 > Project: Qpid > Issue Type: Task > Components: Java Broker > Affects Versions: 0.10, 0.11, 0.12 > Reporter: Alex Rudyy > Assignee: Alex Rudyy > Priority: Minor > Fix For: Future > > Attachments: > 0001-QPID-3422-Implementation-of-ring-and-ring_strict-que.patch > > > "ring" and "ring_strict" queue policies are not implemented on a Java Broker. > Test AddressBasedDestinationTest.testBrowseMode fails against java broker > because it uses a ring queue policy. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2#6252) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@qpid.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@qpid.apache.org
