Hi Steven,
the qpid-amqp-1.0-client has been replaced by the newer qpid-jms client: see
[here|https://qpid.apache.org/components/jms/index.html]. The new client
supports automatic failover to alternative brokers as documented
[here|https://qpid.apache.org/releases/qpid-jms-0.9.0/docs/index.html].
