Description: When using the linearstore overwrite-before-return option can
cause excessive client latencies owing to the time taken in the store to
overwrite the entire journal file with zeros in an inefficient manner. The
store by design does not have its own worker threads, and relies on the thread
that is processing a message to perform its work. (was: When using the
