Tim recently migrated some ActiveMQ repos to Git. The process has recently
changed, and INFRA no longer do the migration for you, you essentially do
itself yourself using some git-svn based tooling. See
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-13608 for details.
In particular, I note the comment about the resultant push generating
emails...given the sheer volume of commits we will be talking about here, we
probably really want to think about having the commit@ emails and gitsvn2jira
JIRA updates disabled for the new repository until the migration is done, since
they will fire for several years worth of commits.
