Jiri Daněk commented on PROTON-2147: ------------------------------------ I have two variants of the PR. The addons:homebrew:packages PR makes xcode8.3 last much longer, so I also have a minimal PR that just fixes the path on xcode10.1. I think the addons:homebrew:packages PR should be used, and we can maybe use newer travis image instead of xcode8.3? I don't know what macOS/XCode versions are used in the wild nowadays, so I cannot recommend a version. > Travis CI fails on macOS with xcode10.1 due to OpenSSL library not found > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: PROTON-2147 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-2147 > Project: Qpid Proton > Issue Type: Test > Affects Versions: proton-c-0.30.0 > Reporter: Jiri Daněk > Assignee: Jiri Daněk > Priority: Major > > https://travis-ci.org/apache/qpid-proton/jobs/615663504#L277 > {noformat} > -- Could NOT find OpenSSL, try to set the path to OpenSSL root folder in the > system variable OPENSSL_ROOT_DIR (missing: OPENSSL_INCLUDE_DIR) > {noformat} > The build is using openssl installed by homebrew, but it is not explicitly > installing this library.
