GDS supports the ability to mask columns while sharing tables into datasets.
Current data structures require masking type to be specified for individual
columns. Often multiple columns in a table are masked with the same mask type
(null, redact, hash, ..). Allowing a mask type to be specified for a set of
columns will make it easier to setup masking.
