I plan to use Ranger to manage Hive Metastore policies. However, I couldn't
find any up-to-date documentation on this topic. Following the instructions in
[this link|https://stackoverflow.com/a/77545150/3648566], I removed the comment
line related to the Hive Metastore and rebuilt the project. To be honest, I
couldn't figure out why Hive Metastore was commented out. Ranger successfully
recognized the Hive Metastore plugin. However, it is not functioning as
expected. For instance, unauthorized access is possible, and audit logs are not
being listed. I couldn't find the correct {{hive-site.xml}} configuration
anywhere to When I apply the settings from the Ranger Wiki, I get a "{_}class
not found{_}" error. On the other hand, the solutions I found on Google result
in different errors in the Metastore.
I encountered different errors during various attempts. If it would be helpful,
I can recreate and share those errors as well. I look forward to your
assistance. Thank you.
