We observed that in Ranger, the server machine operates in one timezone (other
than UTC), but all logs—such as admin, KMS, and audit logs—are recorded in UTC.
In contrast, components like Hadoop, Hive, and other ecosystem services follow
the server's timezone. To maintain uniformity across the system, we propose
aligning Ranger's logging behavior with the server's timezone as well.
Will add the more analysis in comments for logging.
