Identified issue as external site reference to download the following files:

Part of the site building, a script (docs/fix-external-site-reference.sh) is
added to download these external site content and added to the ranger site and
modified the html files to reference the downloaded (css|js) files.
Updated the docs/README.txt to run the script
(docs/fix-external-site-reference.sh) after running the 'mvn site' command.
