The issue was resolved by
1. Adding the validation checks whether the {{xGroup}} and {{xUser}} exists
2. Setting the {{ParentGroupId}} of {{vXGroupUser}} to {{{}xGroup{}}}’s id
which was not present
In the {{updateXGroupUser()}} in {{XUserMgr.java}}
