Description:
[Download Apache Ranger page|https://ranger.apache.org/download.html] has
direct links to {{downloads.apache.org}} and {{archive.apache.org}} for release
tarballs, despite stating "closest mirror site selected automatically". It
should use the mirror system by linking tarballs via {{closer.lua}}, see
https://infra.apache.org/release-download-pages.html
Please also update the [release process
doc|https://github.com/apache/ranger/blob/49f04a583e6e1e0ae0b4332021ed94b6b84fe56f/mkdocs/docs/project/release-process.md?plain=1#L416]
to reflect that.
Also: "You should remove links to older releases that you no longer support".
