I seem to have either misplaced my wiki credentials or I did not have

Could you put me down as having signed off on this one?
One small nit; I don't think that "number of JIRAs resolved" is a
community issue, That's a technical thing that the board normally
doesn't care one bit about.
I would much rather have you put down the number of emails flowing
through the mailing list, as a better gauge of the activity in the project.

Ranger
The Ranger project is a framework to enable, monitor and manage
comprehensive
data security across the Hadoop platform.
Apache Ranger has been incubating since 2014-07-24.
Three most important issues to address in the move towards graduation:
* Increase the Ranger contributors/committers across industry verticals
* Establish a automated git check-in process to validate the check-in
patches for quality control (similar to Hadoop QA)
* Add more documentation to support new users and contributors.

* Working on release of Apache 0.4.1 to avoid compilation issues
related to SNAPSHOT libraries in HBase and Hive dependencies
* Working on adding more security functionalities for the next
release, Apache Ranger 0.5.0
