Guys, I'm curious why you think this was needed.
IMO what Paul did initially by (only) notifying the usage of OpenAjax under its
AL 2.0 in the LICENSE file was acceptable if not superfluous already.
OpenAjax doesn't have *any* NOTICE requirements of its own, so there is no need
to add such to our NOTICE file. Actually, it is not even required to attribute
them in the LICENSE file either by their use of only the AS 2.0 license.
But adding/moving the Copyright statement to the NOTICE file adds unnecessary
confusion for our downstream users, who now might *think* there is a legal
requirements for this, while actually there isn't one.
So, my proposal is to remove this attribution from the NOTICE file too in Rave
trunk. And looking at the current NOTICE file it seems like more non-required
attributions have been added which should be removed as well.
But I didn't have the time yet for a thorough check.
For the 0.12 release candidate I don't think these are blockers though, maybe
just an annoyance.
