First, yes, +1 to removing the extension. JR - I did try installing VS - but it didn't seem to help. Was a reboot required perhaps?
Also - are we saying this will be required for Windows folks to use this? It isn't the end of the world, but if there is anyway we can ship it pre-built - that would be nicer.
