[~alFReD-NSH] "working" doesn't mean "support"!
You can have Ripple working with probably any version of PhoneGap, but until
updated, it WON'T support new PhoneGap API.
Try to run your working example and use any PhoneGap API object, property or
anything, that was introduced or changed in PhoneGap 3.0 or newer and you'll
see, that Ripple cracks on this.
