  1. One concurrency bug left to fix in qa_refactoring.
  2. Run qa_refactoring against the test suite from River 2.2.1
  3. Merge changes to trunk after the qa_refactoring branch with
     qa_refactoring.
  4. Replace trunk with qa refactoring.
  5. Document release notes.
  6. Review changes.
  7. Release trial candidate for wider testing.
  8. Release.
