This is an example of the kind of detail that the Surrogate Architecture was 
intended to deal with.  The discovery of native devices and then the 
advertisement of them via Jini is an excellent way to remove the “Linux” nature 
of the source device from a system.   When you consider that individual detail 
against the larger scheme of IoT, Jini can provide lots of opportunity for “in 
home” device management.
