@dmbj Could you try to use the [native client](https://github.com/apache/rocketmq/tree/master/example/src/main/java/org/apache/rocketmq/example/quickstart) to consume the same topic to see if the same problem still exists. In addition, you can see if the subscription information under the same consumer group is consistent.
