Hi,

focus on the metrics collector and specification of metric?

No. As the goal section of RIP-46 states, it is a redesign, aiming to
provide systematic observability in metric dimensions.

the k8s cluster base on the some other component, such as HPA;

Not quite understand your concern here. Could you please elaborate it
further?

Best to have the discussion in the mailing list following Apache Way. *Apache
projects use mailing lists to coordinate development of their software and
administer their organization. Mailing lists also serve as a primary
support channel where users can help each other learn to use the
software.  *https://www.apache.org/foundation/mailinglists.html

Not everyone has the schedule to attend online meetings. It's OK to have
online meetings, be private or public. But they should not be considered
formal and necessary.
