Hi, We’ve discussed this before [4] but I can see many links to new external GitHub repos on this page [1] on the Apache RocketMQ site. What are the reasons for the new external GitHub repos?
IMO the GitHub repo at [2] should be closed down and all code moved to Apache RocketMQ repository as we now have Apache repo created for externals. [3] If it decided to not close it down, at the very least I think the content there needs to change: - Github is not the "RocketMQ Community” the RocketMQ community is here at Apache. - It's is no clear there is any involvement with an Apache project at there. - The page needs to respect Apache’s trademarks and follow branding guidelines. - the “Rewards” section on [4] is troubling. Commitership / PMC membership should not be given away based on contributions to external projects and the PMC needs to follow Apache process and vote committers in. Please clarify and provide links the to process there. I also not sure this page has been updated as requested. [5] These companies “use” Apache RocketMQ, companies are not “involved" in Apache projects individuals are. It would be great if the PMC could look into this and correct where needed. Any questions please ask.
