that's fine with me. i am still just using ant 1.6.2 and not having any
problems, but it makes no difference to me as long as it works.

I believe this is happening because the Ant 1.6.2 jars in
tools/buildtime are conflicting with 1.7.0.
Upgrading the jars solves the problem. Any objection to updating those
jars to 1.7.0?
