Just in case any of the Roller devs care, I have recently posted a new blog post that I hope further clarifies the relationship (as I see it, anyway) between OQ and Roller.
Dave's comment to me a few weeks ago about OQ being a "distro" of Roller came close to hitting the spot, except I've realized it would be more accurate to call OQ a "distro that includes Roller." Anyway, the blog post goes into more detail, including a hideously tortured analogy between OQ and a Linux distro.
