Speaking of that, what are the dates you'll need this by? I'm working
on getting the necessary approvals now but it can take some time. If I
cannot get this code contributed in time, I can at least walk you
through what is necessary.

Very nice! Looks like you have done your homework and put together a
complete proposal. You might want to mention the risk that Snell's
AtomPub implementation may not be available in time and explain how
you will adjust the plan in that case.
