I think file uploading/handeling is a big area that needs improvement. When you refer to media blogging, I also tend to think about services that are already out there that people use. I know a lot of people use services like flickr to archive pictures, I wonder if you guys are concerned of the handeling of media outside of roller (being held in third party services (Amason S3, Flickr)). It would be a great improvement to Roller if it starts extending its hands to bring better interaction with third parties. I joined this group recently and would like to introduce myself first. Me, Ganesh Mathrubootham and my friend, Tanuja Varkanthe are graduate students at San Jose State University (SJSU). We have been selected to work on media blogging enhancements for roller with Dave Johnson as our mentor. As part of this work, Tanuja and I will be satisfying the academic requirements for our masters project at SJSU. To start with, we created a proposal for media blogging support in Wiki section per Dave's advice. We wanted to share it with you for your valuable feedback. It's listed under active proposals.
