Hi,

As you might be aware of, Google is starting a new program this year,
Google Season of Docs https://developers.google.com/season-of-docs/.
Technical writers will be paid to work on open source projects. ASF will
apply for the program, and I believe Rya can benefit from the help of a
technical writer.
I was planning to submit a project proposal and volunteer as a mentor.

Each proposal needs two mentors, so if anyone else is interested,
please let me know. In particular, if you worked with a technical writer
before, that experience would be useful now, but not required.

Also, if people have ideas on proposals to submit, let's talk about it. I
was thinking one idea is the query optimization part - we need better
documentation on how it works and how to use it.

Have a great week,
Adina
