@gdfm let me get back to you on this - I've been running local ever since I
realized the Samza integration does not do what I thought it did (i.e.
specifying a Samza/Kafka stream/topic name as input). I did come across the
Kafka reader PR and pulled it into my repository. Seems for anyone using
Samza+Kafka it's duplicated and conflicting code. But I suppose there may be a
need for feeding Samoa on other platforms (Storm, Flink etc) from Kafka.
