Automated Travis builds fail because of Travis-Java settings. Actually, the
builds are terminated at the very beginning, because of Java misconfiguration.
The key issue seems to be in the messages:
The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly
This environment variable is needed to run this program
NB: JAVA_HOME should point to a JDK not a JRE__
It seems the reason is the problem:
https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/7964, which is resolved as
follows:
oraclejdk7 is no longer available in Travis, replace it with openjdk7
To test whether the change to openjdk helps, updates to Samoa Travis config are
needed.
