xml-security-c 1.7.3 cross compile for arm with ARM GCC toolchain fails

Hello

./configure fails when using cross compile toolchain when executing test 
programs. Is there a way to prevent test programs from executing on the 
build host when running configure?

Build host: Ubuntu X86, GCC 4.8
Target host: ARMv7, GCC 4.8 GNU-linux
