While I can only speak to the C++ half you don't care about, I would strongly prefer things stay where they are (JIRA, the list) because I can't accept PRs directy in GitHub due to their terms of service. But what's going to happen is people will do it, and I suspect the Java side will be fine with it so it will just be somewhat inconsistent. -- Scott
