There are no more releases of this code planned, but if you want the patch filed or if another committer emerges to do the work, please file it in Jira.
For the record, I would not disallow the use of the code on any OpenSSL version without a good reason, it's just needless breakage. Conditional patches that maintain the support back to the older versions are fine. -- Scott
