JCA is the problem here. In issue 26836 it was mentioned last year, with
no reply. The patch in issue 19991 apparently uses BSD-licensed code, so
I guess we won't be able to use that.
If no one else, I would like to spend some time looking into them.
Let me know what you all think.
Perhaps we should wait a few days and see if there is a reaction from
the patch submitters, but otherwise, yes, we'll have to consider the
issues as open again.
