ArcGIS (ESRI) is a geographic information system (GIS) used to create maps,
interpret geographic information, and seamlessly combine various analytical
tools, visualizations, and databases in one source.
Many scientists are familiar with and already use ArcGIS for their day-to-day
work.
Proposing to add a toolbox which accesses SDAP endpoints to provide Scientists
with data and cloud analytics from within their familiar ArcGIS tools which
will enable them to perform analyses that cut across several NASA Earth science
datasets.
We can create a new directory within incubator-sdap-nexus which will contain
sdap integrations. This will involve moving the python-client which is
currently in the repo and adding the new ESRI integration toolbox.
