It has been requested that the cdms_reader tool be capable of returning matches
in a primitive array format (ex. a two-dimensional list) as opposed to only
returning matches in a list of Dictionaries. The improvement is to create a
separate function that assembles matches in the requested format, as well as
improve the documentation of the tool for greater clarity.
