Dear Kapa Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I would like to apply for the Kapa Open Source
Program on behalf of Apache SeaTunnel.

Project name & website:
Apache SeaTunnel – https://seatunnel.apache.org/

Project description & community impact:
Apache SeaTunnel is an open-source, multimodal, high-performance,
distributed data integration tool that focuses on batch and streaming data
synchronization. It provides 100+ connectors ecosystem and a flexible
pipeline model to help data engineers and developers build reliable data
ingestion and transformation workflows across databases, data lakes, and
message queues.
SeaTunnel is widely adopted in production by companies across different
industries, and has an active global community of contributors and users.
It significantly lowers the barrier to building real-time and batch data
pipelines, and promotes best practices in modern data integration and
ETL/ELT architectures.

Planned Kapa deployment:
We plan to integrate Kapa as:

A documentation widget embedded in our official documentation site, so
users can quickly query connector options, configuration examples, and
troubleshooting guides; and

A potential integration with our community channels (e.g., Slack) to help
contributors and users obtain instant, documentation-grounded answers to
frequently asked questions.

Please let me know if you need any additional information to evaluate this
application.
Thank you for your time and for providing such a helpful service to the
open-source community.

Best regards,
David
