The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Sedona has invited Furqaan Khan to become a PMC member.
Furqaan is now the No.4 contributor of Sedona. He has contributed many new vector and raster functions to Sedona. You can find his contribution here: https://github.com/apache/sedona/commits?author=furqaankhan He is now capable of maintaining a large portion of our vector and raster functions. Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better productivity.
