L.S.,
Over at the Camel dev list, discussions have started to close down for their upcoming 2.8.0 release. There's also a CXF 2.4.1 release in the works that will get picked up by this Camel release, so I think it would be a good idea for us to start working towards a 4.4.0 release to be started as soon as these two have been released. On our end, this release would include: - ServiceMix components 2011.02, cfr. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SMXCOMP/fixforversion/12316111 - ServiceMix NMR 1.5.0, cfr. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SMX4NMR/fixforversion/12316157 - ServiceMix Utils 1.5.0, cfr. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SM/fixforversion/12316098 - ServiceMix 4 (aka features) 4.4.0, cfr. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SMX4/fixforversion/12315742 For any issues in these lists that can't/won't be fixed over the next few weeks, we should probably move them to another fix version so we get a better view on the actual amount of work left for this release. I don't mind taking a stab at this myself, but feel free to jump in and help out at any time ;) On a second note, the previous attempt to release 3.4.0 has failed and we have lost the momentum on that one a bit. Since we're now pretty close to the next release of ServiceMix 4.x, how about we plan that one right after the 4.4.0 release, reusing the utils/components release (to be included in both of them)? The open issue list for that one is already looking pretty good (cfr. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SM/fixforversion/12315718), the only thing missing to pick up the latest components would the upgrade to CXF 2.4.x I guess..
