One difference:  CXF uses confluence to manage the content, but doesn't rely on 
the autoexport plugin to produce the HTML output.   Thus, there is a big 
difference between how ServiceMix and CXF produce the final HTML that you see.  
  As an example, run those pages through the w3c html validator at 
http://validator.w3.org/ .   CXF is fully compliant, ServiceMix is not anywhere 
close.
